Conservation Manager
Reporting to the Executive Director, the focus of the Conservation Manager is to work with willing landowners to conserve priority lands using a suite of land protection tools. The Conservation Manager develops and grows relationships with private landowners, municipalities and, state and federal land managers to acquire and conserve real property interests in the Gunnison Valley. The Conservation Manager works closely with the Stewardship Director to monitor and maintain the Crested Butte Land Trust’s existing portfolio of conservation assets. Pay will start between $50,000 – $60,000 DOE. Benefits include medical, paid time off and retirement. The work environment is a combination of time in the Crested Butte office and working outdoors on conserved properties. Crested Butte Land Trust is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
