Jill and her family have been visiting Crested Butte since 2009. The first visit was the winter but soon found summers just as compelling and in 2017 purchased a home in town and now live here full time. Jill and her husband, Jay have three kids who all went to college in Colorado and visit often. Jill works in finance and human resources for Open Studio- an online jazz media company and helps with the family’s i-5 Enterprises-an event management company. Jill also finds time to teach skiing for CBMR and freelance for Uncharted- an adventure travel company. Being engaged in the nonprofit community is a big part of Jill’s life, she founded the Girls on the Run St. Louis Council and ran that for 10 years. Jill got involved with the Land Trust as a volunteer in 2021 and now is co-chairing the 2023 Starry Evening Gala. Jill loves to hike (especially with her black lab Earl), mountain bike and Nordic/downhill ski- everything Crested Butte has to offer and why she loves being a part of the Land Trust.
