The Land Trust Says Goodbye to Claire and Welcomes Arielle!

Claire Karban, Land Trust Outreach Coordinator, is heading to Graduate School to study Ecology at CU Boulder this month! Claire has been an amazing part of our team over the past two years. If you have left any of our recent events thinking, that was a stellar evening spent with the Land Trust, you enjoy reading this monthly email, or exploring the StoryWalk along the Lower Loop with your kids, then you have Claire to thank for her hard work! Please join me in thanking Claire for all she has done on behalf of the people and wildlife of the Gunnison Valley!

We are thrilled to welcome Arielle Koshkin to the Land Trust Team as our incoming Outreach Coordinator! Although Arielle is coming to Crested Butte from the Pacific Northwest, she is no stranger to the Colorado High Country. Arielle is a former High Mountain Institute science teacher and wilderness leader and she brings a love of wild places and a real gift for communicating the value of protecting the lands we all hold dear. If you find yourself in town, come on by the office to welcome Arielle to the Gunnison Valley! You can learn more about Arielle here.
