Each season we host a handful of outings to learn about the great work being done on conserved lands. All field trips are free and we look forward to getting outside with you soon!
Join us at 10 AM with the Crested Butte Avalanche Center to learn about the great work that they do keeping us safe in the backcountry. Ski or snowshoe with us to the Magic Meadows Yurt and learn hands on from CBAC staff. Outings come with a free Nordic day pass so you can explore world class cross country skiing afterwards!
Stay warm and have a drink with us at Mary Schmidt’s Redline gallery! Hear from artists about their work inspired by local landscapes and wildlife. We’ll also share some updates about the work of the Land Trust.
Join the Crested Butte Land Trust and Crested Butte Nordic Center for a free ski and breakfast at the yurt. Hear updates from both organizations and learn about the partnership between Nordic skiers and land conservation. Enjoy a free Nordic day pass an explore world class trails afterwards!
