Jamie grew up on the east coast and after a stint as a ski instructor on the icy slopes of the Poconos knew he would head west, graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder with a finance degree. After the 5 year requisite stint in New York City with JPMorgan, he found his way back to Colorado and was introduced to Crested Butte. He, his wife Emily and their young kids lived in Crested Butte full time with the kids attending CBCS before being pulled back to Denver by work and family. Jamie is a Managing Director and Private Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley where he is recognized by Forbes and Barron’s magazines as a top advisor. He served on the board of the University of Colorado Burridge Finance Center and devotes an annual fundraiser to supporting Children’s Colorado Cancer Center in honor of his daughter Allie who passed away from cancer in 2017. Jamie and his family spend their free time skiing, hiking, biking and enjoying the land around Crested Butte.
