An avid outdoors person, Ashley is a proud Ravenclaw who finished the Appalachian Trail in 2014, the Colorado Trail in 2020, and has plans for more adventures soon. She grew up in North Carolina riding horses, playing the saxophone, and attempting soccer. Her 20’s saw her living in Oulu, Finland and Armenia, Colombia before finally landing in the Gunnison Valley with her husband, Dan, in 2014. She’s worked at various jobs in town, including running the Chamber of Commerce, and is excited to have made the switch to land conservancy, marrying her passion for the outdoors with her experience in nonprofit management and development. She has also served on various local boards including the CB Arts Festival and CB Friends of the Library. When not working, Ashley can be found hiking, horseback riding, skiing, or reading by the river.
